Who are the Navigators? The Navigators is an international NPO operating in Japan for almost 50 years. We focus on enabling personal growth, learning and cultural exchange in the context of genuine friendships. In the Tokyo area, our main collegiate activities focus around equipping young people through the BEST Club. Through cultural exchange, study and travel we seek to bring both Japanese and non-Japanese people into a broader world than they have ever experienced. Many Japanese have little opportunity to make contact with peoples from different cultures, languages and worldviews. We exist to provide such an opportunity. In a day of terrorism and natural disasters, people are seeking answers to the important questions of life. What is man? Where did we come from? Where are we going? What is truth? How can I experience personal peace and meaning in life? What is the key to developing healthy relationships? Does God exist, does it really matter? Together we enjoy probing these and other questions. Though we refer to the Bible in our discussions, most participants are not personally Christians. We welcome people with all kinds of perspectives and experiences.
